SOOOO happy to finally be posting this wedding!! Elise and Nate are some of the sweetest and most fun people you’d ever meet! It all started at Calvary Episcopal Church downtown, where Elise grew up being involved with the community there. When I met with her earlier in the week, we walked around the church and to hear how fondly and sweetly she spoke of the church and what it meant to her, I knew that her decision to have the ceremony there was more than just convenience or the “obvious choice”, it was part of her. It was a joy to be able to participate in the service with them and see two people that have become dear to my heart, join theirs with a joyful committment to each other.
You’ll see that their dog (and baby), Luna, made an appearance throughout the day, as well as their love for everything Memphis. From the wedding colors, locations, and more, Elise and Nate truly are Memphians. I want to give a special thanks and shoutout to my darling friend, Rebecca Eby of Studio Noveau in Madison, Wisconsin for coming down and shooting this wedding with me! Her images are sprinkled throughout here, because she rocks!

Two of pocket-Luna’s portraits from the day. The photo they brought was a photo I took of Luna a few years ago for a holiday card. That dog is hilarious!

Elise and her friend, Ellen, jumped up on stage and gave a fully coreographed performance to *N Sync songs and had the whole place dancing back to High School…
